Honestly, this was by far one of the best places I have visited for alfresco dining in Dubai – the view, really though, the view and the ambiance. Preferably visited during the day time – well, the restaurant is running mostly on it’s brunch, so that is day time :).
I am talking about Pergolas – one of the restaurants at the RODA Al Murooj, previously known as the Rotana Group, is now RODA Hotels.
This place has stunning views and just a very ‘natural surrounding’ with trees and birds chirping away, while you enjoy your meal. I will give you a virtual (video) tour of the place, see below.
But in the meantime, take a look at some of the pics of our view and the outdoor area of the restaurant.
The Roda Hotels has a bunch of hotels across the city, the Murooj being one of the oldest after Bustan in Al Garhoud.
The brunch, which is priced at AED 260 (without alcohol) has everything you can possibly imagine. It ranges from Sushi, to fresh Seafood to an Indian Chaat Corner! I mean even if you go with an empty tummy, which we did, it is nearly impossible to sample everything.
My favorite section was the Cold Arabic Mezzehs, and also what the Chef mentioned the restaurant is famous for.
Burp? Right? I mean hello that is a lot of food. For someone that likes to take it all in, I definitely recommend Pergolas for a family day out or with friends.
Their Friday brunch starts at AED 260 (non Alcoholic), AED 333 Regular Package Alcohol, AED 396 Premium Package Alcohol and AED 125 for a Kids Brunch.
Pergolas in located at the Lobby level at the RODA Al Murooj, and this reporter definitely recommends it for a Friday Brunch!
