ITO is a Japanese restaurant offering Yoshoku experience for Duabi-zens, those looking for a fresh, different taste of Japan.
For the uninitiated, (like I was prior to dining at ITO) Yoshoku refers to a style of Western-influenced cooking, a Japanized version of European dishes.
For instance, my fav, Miso soup had mushrooms in them. I usually like my Miso soup very simple, with minimal flavors, but this was yummy.
Another dish that I truly enjoyed was my Chicken Katsu curry with rice.
As you can see, the views are stunning. Nestled on the Ground Floor of one of the residential buildings in the Burj Plaza, it is not that hard to find. It is right across the walk bridge, overlooking the Burj Khalifa.
What is hard though is the parking situation – the basement parking of the Burj Park Plaza is usually almost full on the weekends. You can park in P1 of the Boulevard parking or the Souk Al Bahar parking (which is what I did) and walk for about 10 minutes to the plaza.
Visit ITO to take a look at the menu and the location. I do recommend this place for modern Japanese food.
I have tried my dinner last day and the Yoshoku experience was amazing. Your writing is simply informative…
