Zenses restaurant at the Warwick hotel is located on the forty sixth floor, right off of SZR (Sheikh Zayed Road) in Dubai.
The food is Pan Asian cuisine with the usual suspects, Edamames, Tempuras, Crispy Chicken Katsu Salad, Miso Soup, Grilled Salmon, Chicken, Chicken Teriyaki, and so on. You get the gist.
We started (predictably) with the Edamame, went on to the Prawn Tempuras and the Chicken Dumpling.
We totally forgot about the soups initially. After some starters, I ordered my favorite soup from the Pan Aisan cuisine – Miso soup (1×2) for me and my friend. So, here is the touch of difference that I noticed in the Miso soup served by Zenses – there was loads of sesame seeds in it. It can be a bit over bearing in taste but it was something, well, different.
What I recommend from the starters are the Prawn Tempuras and the Chicken Dumpling.
For mains, we got the Kong Pao Chicken, vegetable fried rice and the Salmon. My Salmon dish was up to the mark, the same as every where I have ordered it, no complaints. My friend had the Chicken Kong Pao the next day too (yes we got take out) and she said it tasted a bit off. Well, I have to take her word for it, as I didn’t taste it.
I totally enjoyed my view from the forty sixth floor of the Warwick Hotel, looking at the iconic structures of Dubai.
When we went to Zenses, the restaurant was all to ourselves, a nice change from the hustle bustle of packed restaurants that we usually are subject to in this busy city. I recommend Zenses for it’s price, coziness, view and starters.
