Italian brand Twin Set by Simona Barbieri re-opened at The Dubai Mall last week.

The TWIN-SET Simona Barbieri brand appeared on the Italian market in the early ’90s.TWIN-SET means knitwear and they started with cardigans and sweaters.

Later on, they also started featuring tailored garments, accessories like shoes, bags, belts, lingerie / beachwear and a novelty denim collection.

A little bit about the Legria Mini X:

Canon’s Legria Mini X is aimed at musicians, home movie-makers and video reporters (like myself) looking to capture the action without being weighed down by a loaded camera.

Guys, I cannot tell you how easy this one is to use for filming at events. And, I got so much attention using it *giggles* as it piqued people’s curiosity.

Like any pocket camcorder the Canon Legria Mini X weighs about 240 g when loaded with its battery and memory card. But in spite of its lightweight design, this camcorder isn’t short of features. The Mini X has two mics on the front—one positioned either side of the main lens—for recording stereo audio (A-B). The lens has f/2.8 aperture and a fixed-focal-length equivalent to 17.5 mm in AVCHD video mode (150°), 16.8 mm in MP4 mode (160°) and 15.4 mm in photo mode (170°). It therefore gives a very wide angle of view. The Legria Mini X has no optical zoom, but an on-sensor crop function can be used to get a 35 mm equivalent with digital stabilisation off. With digital stabilisation active, the focal length works out equivalent to 43.7 mm and, resolution drops from 2 Megapixels to 1.3 Megapixels. The Legria Mini X uses a 1/2.3″ CMOS sensor with 12.8 million pixels. This camcorder has an adjustable stand to prop it up at various angles (pictured above).

Canon cameras can be purchased at most electronic stores at The Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates.
