Gap knows how to make it’s patrons satisfied – with a decent deal and owing to charitable causes.
At an event entitled, ‘Recycle your Blues’ held last week for media and VIP guests, Gap launched the said campaign with an in-store event hosted at the Mall of the Emirates.
In celebration of the denim heritage and in line with Gap’s philosophy of contributing to the community, the brand invited customers (you can still go until 29th of September, 2015) to give their old pair of denim to any Gap participating stores, in exchange for vouchers worth AED 100 for adults and AED 50 for kids, to be redeemed against purchase of any new Gap 1969 denim jeans.
The initiative encourages customers to donate their old pair of denim, which will be later converted into art pieces to raise funds through an auction, with proceeds given for a good cause.
