When you have What’s On mag on your side, praising your food, it’s hard for any other journo / reporter to try and contest that. Not that we want to contest it, hashtag, ‘just saying!’
That the food at Sapori di Bice is delish is well-known by now (to those who care). What you probably don’t know is that they have the cutest interior. The setting gives you an English cottage homely feel, except way more spacious probably, with the floral arrangements and attention to detail.
Surrounded by dining units decorated with show pieces and plants in pots gives you that warm feel. What I really liked about Sapori di Bice, located at The Beach in JBR, is this little kid’s corner that they have built. Not ones to forget that mommies need their me-time too, to enjoy lunch with their friends, the restaurant built a mini children’s space for kids replete with kid’s furniture and toys to keep them busy, while moms can relish their food and gossip in peace!
Now, over to the food at Sapori di Bice and what you should order:
You know, there is something about a good Caesar salad. The shillings of the Parmesan cheese have to be just right – the thickness of it. Needless to mention the taste – not too bitter not too salty. The lettuce, fresh, as if straight from the farm and the Caesar salad dressing, with an unbeatable, yet not a very overpowering taste. Sapori di Bice nails it. One of the best Ceasar salads I have had in a long time.
The Mushroom Risotto is another must have, along with the mixed vegetable and Margharita Pizza. Because I love Penne Arabiatta so much, I have to order it every place I possibly can, leaving little space in my tummy to experiment. But, I feel that one of the best ways to test the flavour of the food is to order the same dishes if you possibly can, at different restaurants, and compare. Of course, one must try dishes that the restaurant is famous for too, but this works for me.
Sapori di Bice is located at City Walk, Al Wasl Road, Jumeirah and at The Beach in JBR (Jumeirah Beach Residence)
