In 2008, Givenchy unveiled LE SOIN NOIR. An age-defying cream whose effectiveness resides in an alga capable of withstanding the most hostile conditions. The secret of its ability to survive are fundamental molecules that form the Vital Black Algae Sap, credited not only for LE SOIN NOIR’s results, making it a success since its creation, but also for its unique hue.

In 2014, Givenchy Laboratories researchers are going a step further by blending Black Sap with a second extraordinary active ingredient: Golden Sap, derived from another ancient, golden-brown colored alga from the Laminariaceae family.

Black Sap and Golden Sap fuse together in a new LE SOIN NOIR signature complex called Precious Essence of Algae. Already a core ingredient of LE SOIN NOIR and LE SOIN NOIR YEUX 2nd Generation, the complex is now included in the LE SOIN NOIR SERUM.

LE SOIN NOIR SERUM 2nd Generation is supposedly an age-defying product containing a concentration of Precious Essence of Algae and a new Alaria Esculenta Alga extract, promising more age-defying action than ever before.

What does Black Sap do? It stimulates inter-cellular communication in order to boost biological activity*. It promises to bring great effects on many key factors contributing to skin youthfulness, in particular DNA protection and the synthesis of collagens I and III, for a regenerating action from the inside*. Tissue support is supposed to be optimized, creating a ‘visible’ firming effect. Wrinkles are smoothed, the skin becomes more supple and hydrated. We cant wait to try.

Golden Sap is active in two areas: within the epidermis, where it stimulates keratinocyte renewal to enhance skin texture, and within the dermis, where it helps restore fibroblasts’ youthful functions and mechanisms*. It counters the formation of wrinkles and restores firmness to the skin, as if it were turning back the hands of time.
Lastly, a new Alaria Esculenta Alga extract is aimed at heightening effectiveness by reviving and controlling oxygen circulation in the skin cells*.

Because oxygen is a major vector of vital energy, LE SOIN NOIR SERUM 2nd Generation induces an overall improvement in fibroblast activity*

Regenerated and strengthened, as well as better oxygenated and protected from free radicals, the skin regains its vital forces. As if its youthfulness parameters were reinitialized.

As soon as LE SOIN NOIR SERUM 2nd Generation is applied, the skin is expected to be enhanced, instantly smoother and silkier. With each passing day, an intense revitalisation takes place in the heart of the cells. The skin becomes firmer and more toned. The facial contour is reshaped, wrinkles to fade away. The complexion is to become radiant and luminous.
