The Tamarind & Willow Bark toner by VLCC is simply amazing. Have you ever used a toner that has a creamy base? You can feel the effects of an astringent working on your skin with the slight tingle and of course, the smell. When I poured some on to a cotton pad, I thought that this is some sort of a new cream that works as a toner, but it does in fact do the work of a skin toner.

The willow bark and tamarind extracts have anti-aging, astringent and anti-microbial properties that cleanses skin by removing all impurities, oil and make up residue. It is also supposed to aide in preventing excess sebum production.

If you are bored of using your regular water based toner, give this one a shot.

VLCC products are available at eading hypermarket chains and VLCC centres across the UAE. For more info on the brand, click here.

The Cacti & Litchi hydrating face wash by VLCC (pictured above) is not meant for removing grime and / or makeup. It could be used just when you want to gently cleanse your face.
What I love about this face wash is that it doesn’t dry your skin. You know you can use it time and again to cleanse your skin. Unlike those other potent face washes (that sometimes rip your skin of its natural oils), this one doesn’t. The skin feels cleansed but not washed out.
I would not recommend the Cacti & Litchi Gentle Hydrating face wash if you are looking for an extreme deep cleanse. The reason this face wash caught my fancy is because I thought I could use a gentle wash since I tend to indulge in strong pore cleansers and exfoliating washes.
